Bird on Pear

Even as a young boy Tom was destined to become an artist. He credits his artistic creativity to his grandmother, Cecilia Anderson.

Tom has many fond memories of walking through the woods with her. There she'd carefully choose just the right plant to place in her basket for dying her hand-spun wool. When they'd reach home, his grandmother performed magic by creating all kinds of colors from their finds. She even allowed her young grandson to experiment with colors. Something he does to this day.

Tom's paintings are magical. His trademark evening sky with its full moon will pull you into his canvas, while his flying sheep take you on adventures you thought you'd left to your childhood.

A cornucopia of bright and happy colors greets you when you look at one of Tom's wood carvings. Here you'll find his trademark bird sitting on an olive, an apple, a mushroom, a big red heart, or just about anything you can imagine.

The sheer playfulness and pure innocence of his wood carvings are enough to put a smile on any face.
